Wow I can't believe it's been two months since I posted last. I think the weekend is not the best time to try now that the weather is nicer so will look for another day.
Well I haven't been idle during the two months. Here's what's on the paint table now. WWII in 28mm so I can try out Chain of Command. Having sold off all my unpainted figures I ended up buying more second hand to flesh out my collection.
On the Little Britons front two groups have been finished. The first the Royal Guards of Hawaii and second US troops from the Mexican Expedition.
Lastly because I have trouble staying focused are some Dark Age figures that I bought on impulse

Choosing a color for the troops
So I'm getting ready to paint my figures for the US Infantry during the Pershing Expedition. I can't quite decide on the color to use. Looking for some thoughts. Here's a shot of the figures painted with one coat of the colors of choice.
the paints are Vallejo 70.880 Khaki Grey, 70.913 Yellow Ochre, 70.879 Green Brown.
Some ideas came from here Wild Bunch For Dummies. I guess I'm leaning towards the Khaki Grey.

Finaly something finished
Well I've just finish my first unit a cavalry.
It was a little cold for spraying but I just had to get these done. In the photos I picked up the inconsistancy of the paint on the side of the base I'll need to fix that when the weather warms up. Also this guy was finished
I was able to start basing the 15mm figures and hope to have them finished by tomorrow.
Next up are these two units. It's too cold to spray prime so they'll get a coat of gesso.

Casting are pretty clean. I know the Kukri wasn't used by the US but this was the pose I wanted for these troops. Carving it off is an option but leaving it on will be easier. When this lot is painted I should have enough figures for a game, two months if I stay on schedule.
